Buying Liquidation Truckloads
Full-trailer buying is where the per-unit cost drops hardest — and where the logistics get real.
The mechanics
What a truckload purchase involves
A truckload is a full trailer of liquidation merchandise, typically 16 to 26 pallets for larger categories and up to 48 for standard general merchandise. You buy the trailer whole. That's the reason the per-unit cost falls so far below pallet pricing — you're absorbing the entire lot, mixed condition and all.
Manifested vs unmanifested
A manifested load ships with an item-level list including supplier-estimated retail values. It costs more and lets you model your margin before purchase. An unmanifested load is sold by category, pallet count and condition only. It's cheaper per unit and is how experienced buyers keep their cost basis down — but you have to trust the description and the source.
Freight and delivery
Truckloads ship as full trailers from our Dallas warehouse. We quote freight to your ZIP after your order is placed, and nothing dispatches until you approve the rate. You may also arrange your own carrier — tell us before purchase and we'll palletise, wrap and stage the load for your driver.
Inspection
Buyers taking a trailer are welcome to inspect the load in person before payment. Call ahead, and we'll have it staged on the floor when you arrive.
Before you buy a trailer, have these four things
01
Unloading capability
A 53' trailer needs a dock or a forklift and roughly two hours of labour. Floor-loaded trailers take longer.
02
Storage space
Twenty-four pallets need about 1,000 square feet of staged floor before sorting even begins.
03
Working capital
Budget the load, the freight and 30 days of runway before resale revenue catches up.
04
A sales channel
Know where the volume goes — storefront, bins, marketplace or export — before the truck rolls.
