Sales Tax Policy
Effective January 1, 2026. How tax is calculated, collected and exempted on your orders.
Tax shown at checkout — and covered by us
Product prices shown on this site are in US dollars and exclude tax. At checkout, sales tax is calculated at a flat 8.25% (the Texas state and local combined rate) and shown on your order summary for transparency. On qualifying orders that tax is covered by PalletCove Liquidation LLC, so the tax line is shown struck through and no tax is added to the total you pay.
Where we are based
PalletCove Liquidation LLC is a Texas limited liability company operating from 4820 Cove Industrial Blvd, Dallas, TX 75236. We do not sell through marketplace facilitators; every order is placed and invoiced directly on this website.
Resale and exemption certificates
Most of our buyers are resellers and qualify for exemption. To purchase tax free, submit a valid, fully completed exemption document before you place your order:
- Texas Sales and Use Tax Resale Certificate (Form 01-339), or
- Your home state's resale certificate, or
- A Streamlined Sales Tax (SST) Exemption Certificate for participating states.
Email the signed certificate to sales@palletcoveliquidation.com with your business name and account email. Certificates are reviewed within one business day and applied to your account for future orders. Certificates must list a valid permit number and a description of property purchased for resale.
If tax is ever added to an order
If any sales tax is charged on an order, it will be itemized on your invoice before you pay. If tax is charged on an order that should have been exempt, send us your certificate within 30 days of the invoice date and we will refund that tax to the original payment method.
Your responsibilities
Buyers are responsible for reporting and remitting any use tax due in their own jurisdiction, for collecting tax on their downstream resales, and for keeping their permits current. Nothing on this page is tax or legal advice — consult a qualified advisor for your situation.
